Nikolett Molnár
I am Nikolett Molnár, a Hungarian artist and architect based in Vienna, working at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and spatial thinking. My multidisciplinary practice is shaped by my background in architecture, which has influenced both my analytical approach and my visual language. In my practice I explore emotions and human behavior in our constantly accelerating and increasingly indifferent world.
My works often emerge through the use of colourless, material-based compositions cement, concrete, sand, plaster, wood, and other raw materials where light and shadow become essential elements that shape the image and its spatial presence. These ideas also inform series such as Imaginary Cities, where modular structures and spatial systems form symbolic urban landscapes that exist between painting, sculpture, and architectural imagination.

Between Space & Perception
Through the interaction of material, structure, and light, my works explore the subtle relationships between human perception and the spaces we inhabit.
By reducing forms to essential elements, I seek to create environments that invite reflection on the visible and invisible structures shaping our experiences. Ultimately, my work reflects an ongoing search for the underlying patterns that connect inner emotional landscapes with the external world.
